The Room on the Roof

The boy rusty, a sixteen-year-old Anglo – indian boy, is orphaned and has to live with his guardian in the European part of Dehra Dun. He was unhappy with the strict ways of his guardian. He runs away from home to live with his indian friends. Written when the author was himself seventeen, this timeless story of love and friendship, with a new introduction and illustrations.

The book is well easy to understand, there are many illustrations in this book. I enjoyed it a lot if you are a beginner I will suggest this book. Rusky was a very intelligent and active person. Mostly books go on friendship and love. Sharing their emotions. From childhood, rusky don’t know about outside living. It will be enjoyed by a whole new generation of readers. Ruskin bond books are not only for children but also for adults.
